Can Science Potentially Make Consuming Alcohol Safer And More Enjoyable?
WHY Balloon Shot
Balloon Shot is designed to allow you to experience the fun parts of drinking alcohol while minimizing the bad parts. With Balloon Shot, you can have a great buzz all night with a much lower chance of having a hangover the next day. At 1/60th the amount of a normal shot of alcohol (less than a drop), Balloon Shot may even mitigate the possible health issues stemming from the consumption of alcohol in liquid form. Other social effects of Balloon Shot may include decreases in drunk driving, resulting in a reduced number of Road Traffic accidents and saving lives.
Summary
After some research we understood at the core of the problem was excessive alcohol in the human body, so we decided to look into processes that would deliver a lower amount of alcohol into the body other than drinking, yet provide the desired effects.
However, we wanted to be sure we designed our solutions with care to ensure maximum safety for both inhaling alcohol and to provide better control of the effects caused by it.
We believe we have achieved this because we do not utilize any heat or other chemicals or compounds that would add to the alcohol and cause additional issues and the serving amount and serving container is a set and known quantity, which is less than a fraction of a drop of alcohol.
Concerns by health professionals have circled around excessive alcohol in the lungs, but search as we may, when we first started six years ago, we could not find any health professionals that could provide tested and confirmed data on this matter. In the end, many of them said it was “inconclusive without actual testing”.
To test our hypothesis, we sent our end product to a certified testing laboratory to see exactly how much alcohol was suspended in the vapor. This laboratory also conducts testing for the US NAVY in regards to their air quality for their divers.
When we received the results, we were pleased it was well within published levels of safety, which are regarded as the standard by the U.S. government. In fact, someone could consume 120 shots within an eight (8) hour period produced by our systems and still not reach the safety limit set by the U.S. government for allowable amount of alcohol in the lungs. That’s one shot every four minutes for eight hours straight. You can see the science and math for this as well as our test results below.
Then we went one step further, we wanted to also see if indeed someone could consume Vapshots all night and have a great time, wait 30 mins and blow a 0.00 on a breathalyzer.
Now this would be something great.
To confirm our suspicions, we asked a DOT (department of transportation) certified testing company, which does the testing for the police departments in the United States for DUI (driving while under the influence) cases to conduct the testing using DOT regulated equipment.
As shown by the information below, our claims were confirmed in court admissible results marked as evidence. Test subjects showed after consuming a Vapshot, they blew a 0.05 on a breathalyzer after one (1) minute and a 0.00 after thirty (30) minutes.
Please note the test data is for Vapshot, our vaporized alcohol shots. The Alcohol MIST system produces a mist of liquid alcohol that uses about the same amount of alcohol in each shot, which again is a fraction of a drop, so the test data is relevant to both products.
